Where did THE TUBE originally come from?
Ancient Egyptians were well-versed in both brewing beer and large-scale engineering. It is widely accepted in the TUBING community that the convergence of these two disciplines occured somewhere around 7,500 BC with the primitive (but functional) "al-tyuube" device as depicted here:
Who are these people?
On most of the oldest videos and photos you'll find Bern, Mark, Rich and Leon. Spectators and ancillary staff include Em and Maria.
2003 onwards
Mark is grandmaster daddy tuber.
Bern is chief tube commissioner.
Leon is primary tube evangelist.
Rich is the tube daddy. Nobody does the tube quite like Rich.
We would include Colin on the list but he's still a tubing virgin. He's tickled around the edges a few times but he's not popped his tubing cherry yet.
2007
2007 ushered in a new tuber - Dave. Dave had seen our video clips and was eager to immerse himself into tubing society and he did NOT disappoint on his first outing.
